Mike Long

Mike Long is an actor, educator, and deviser of theatre.  As an actor, he has appeared at theatres around the US in performances ranging from Shakespeare to Ibsen to contemporary Musical Theatre and holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Virginia.

He currently teaches acting and theatre at the American University of Sharjah.

Other recent projects include acting in Middletown at the Heritage Theatre Festival, directing Nice Work If You Can Get It and The Liar at Live Arts, and staging the first production of The Swiss Swap: A Martin and Margaret Adventure, a full-length adventure farce that he co-wrote with collaborator Amaree Cluff.  The script was awarded the University of Virginia's Clay E. Delauney Memorial Award for Excellence in Playwriting and has subsequently been produced by several other theatres.
